Scholarship
We are excited to announce new Single Day and Week Scholarships that cover the full cost of Camp BTX and make the experience accessible to everyone.
Children from all over the country, and especially the local Rio Grande Valley, are invited to participate in a scholarship symposium.
- June 16, 2024 - August 9, 2024
- Age: 3 - 5 yrs | 6 - 8 yrs | 9 - 12 yrs | 13 - 16 yrs
- Located in the heart of Dean Porter Park in the Mitte Cultural District at 501 E. Ringgold Street #5 Dean Porter Park.
To be considered, learners have the opportunity to submit entries such as:
- Creating an art piece
- Building a small prototype
- Giving a speech
- Writing a poem
- Or composing a piece of music
The overarching goal of Camp BTX is to inspire the young leaders of tomorrow to pursue future careers in space science, build community, and create open access to education for all.
Rules for Entering:
- Submissions must demonstrate a passion for space sciences and innovation as well as a willingness to work hard
Entries must be submitted before the start of camp on July 1st, 2024
Submissions must include a minimum 1 page letter sharing why you would like to come to Space Camp as well as your name, age, and grade level
Scholarships for Single Day and Week Camp will be considered and awarded on a needs and efforts basis
