DAY CAMP
Here are the things your child will likely need to bring for Camp BTX summer Overnight Camp.
- Hat and Sunscreen
- Reusable water bottle or canteen
- Swimwear and towel
- Goggles if your child wants to use them
- Bug spray
- Change of clothes
- Snack (we will have a basic snack available daily, but please pack your own snacks if your camper has certain allergies or preferences)
- Light jacket (museum gets cold indoors in the afternoon)
- Rain gear (towel, boots, jacket, etc.)

OVERNIGHT CAMP
Here are the things your child will likely need to bring for Camp BTX summer Day Camp.
- Hat and Sunscreen
- Reusable water bottle or canteen
- Swimwear and towel
- Goggles if your child wants to use them
- Bug spray
- 8+ comfortable outfits and undergarments
- Pajamas for the week
- Toiletries (deodorant, toothbrush, hairbrush, etc.)
- Spending money - All meals and snacks are included, but there may be an opportunity for campers to purchase items like additional snacks or treats
- 1+ pair of close-toed shoes like sneakers
- 1+ pair of beach/pool friendly shoes like flip flops
- Backpack or day bag
- Books, games, or other similar items for downtime and car rides
- Blanket (optional) - all bedding is provided but if your camper prefers personal items please bring those!Books, games, or other similar items for downtime and car rides
- Prescription medicines with instructions (if applicable)
- Charger for any personal devices
- Rain gear (towel, boots, jacket, etc.)
DAY CAMP
Drop-off and pick-up will be in front of the Ringgold Civic Pavilion at The Children’s Museum of Brownsville located at 501 E. Ringgold Street #5 Dean Porter Park, Brownsville, Texas 78520
